Smart and Chic to Participate in Boudoir Marathons

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 15, 2009 – Smart and Chic, known as the premier wedding source for on site hair and makeup, announced today that they will be scheduling multiple boudoir marathons in the months of November, December and January.

Boudoir, French for bedroom, refers to photos that have themes of flirtation, sensuality, and romance. It is not necessary to be nude or revealing in female boudoir photography. It has more to do with the energy and attitude of the woman.

A boudoir marathon is typically shot at a hotel suite. Each woman is given a time slot where she can come in, get her hair and makeup done professionally and have an hour to two-hour photo shoot with multiple outfits. Some women choose their lover’s favorite football jersey, a white tank top, or a trench coat. One woman chose to wear her fire fighting uniform…with nothing else.

Having already done over 50 boudoir sessions, Smart and Chic knows how to capture sexy in a natural way. The team is also highly skilled at the smokey, sultry look. They listen and cater to the client’s comfort level.

Partnering with established photographers such as Amber Procaccini, Laura Ivanova, Callie V, La Vie Photography in Minneapolis and Brian Callaway in Los Angeles, the Smart and Chic Team is armed and ready to go with airbrush makeup, false lashes and lip plumping gloss.
